Kimmeridge - 8 April 2007

Once upon a time on a cool spring morn, 6 brave adventurers set forth upon the sun-dappled coast of Kimmeridge Bay. With delight in their eyes to see a mirror-flat sea ahead of them they hastily prepared their thermal armour before launching their noble steed and promptly firing up their 80 horses to storm forward into the deep unknown.

With Sir Richard of Honor leading the way, the 4 knights & 2 maidens of BOASAC were soon to find their first battle - Mupe Rock it was known.

At first sight they were eager to enter the fray, but soon after submersion Lady Caroline did cry "Ear pain I am feeling, ascend I must", leaving Sir Philip all alone. In the cold he awaited for reinforcement from Sir Ian & Sir Rob & within 10 minutes they did come. The three then battled forward through the dark and murky Mupe Rock, followed by Sir Richard & Lady Tracey near by. Not quite a fathom could they see before green fog did enclose, & for only 30 minutes did their thermal armour hold back the cold, but all were successful and returned to their steed to head back to the encampment for sustenance and repose.

Stories were told of creature’s unseen, too frightened to swim in dark waters like these. All too soon they were recalled to battle, their task to survey the Nature Trail for life not found that morning at the battle of Mupe Rock. Alas, disappointed they would be, as no creatures did they see. Leaving lady Caroline with their 80 horses for a further 30 minutes did they search, only to find cold green velvet encasing their cold 5 fathom depth.

Eventually, as the sun showed 30 minutes past the 15th hour, they returned to their homelands, avowing to return soon to resume battle and hopefully encounter their quarry.
